Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. The name was given to her by her parents for the town in which she grew in. His father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder's father came from the Jewish family Ryder considers herself Jewish. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are her half-siblings. Ryder moved with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. There, they didn't have electricity. Ryder was an avid reader and spent her time reading books as she had no television. Ryder aged 12 enrolled at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in the year 1983. She landed her debut role on the big screen in 1986 when she was 15 years old. Ryder was bullied throughout her teenage years. Ryder hoped her career as an actor would be able to make a difference. But, unfortunately, that didn't happen. Still, she kept chasing her goals. Ryder made her breakthrough in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder played successful roles for various films. She was nominated for two Academy Awards one for her role as a character in The Age of Innocence (1993).
